French school supplies
I stopped by the local papeterie today to buy some school supplies. Most French notebooks are lined differently that we're used to in the US. It's easier to find graph paper than lined paper. The ones I bought are what we might call "calligraphy" paper in the US. They're small notebooks, about as tall as your medium-sized Moleskine. When I bought them, the lady at the counter asked, "Vous travaillez beaucoup, non?" Maybe your typical French student isn't as excited about paper supplies...
